Got my 2017 Facelift VRS last week but it only has the tyre repair kit and after writing off a perfectly repairable tyre on my old Yeti with the gunk I don't want to go that way again...

 

From my searching it seems that the 18" spacesaver itself is common to Golfs etc but I need a specific Foam Insert and Tool kit to support the boot floor. Looking online there seems to be some discrepancy on which is the VRS part:

 

Sandicliffe on Ebay list 5E0093860A but Super Skoda list 5E0093860C for the VRS - does anyone know which is correct? Usually I'd just get the local TPS to sort me out but they can't find one listed against my reg number...

Surely the 'C' suffixed part is just a revision of the same thing?

 

I'd be very surprised if the boot floor has changed much over the life of the Mk3, so really the main concern is that the insert will fit the spacesaver wheel, which of course didn't come with your car anyway, but probably hasn't changed much either.   

 

So on a 2017 I'd be inclined just to go for the later revision.
