Superb (2011) Bolero bluetooth phone connectivity with Android

Featured Replies

Hi,

I had a Windows phone that was connected to the Bolero system via bluetooth and gave me both phone and audio functionality.

I recently switched to an Android phone and now all I can get is 'Connected (no phone)', and that is by initiating the connection from the phone.

If I initiate the connection from the Maxidot display using the search capability, it sees the phone fine, and asks for a password, but when I enter a password on my phone the Maxidot display says, 'Log-in not possible' and the phone says, 'Connection with SKODA_BT not possible beacuase of an incorrect PIN or passkey'.

Is there any way of finding out what password the Bolero unit is expecting?

Any help gratefully received.

Try 0000 or 1234.

@Rustynuts - Unfortunately, I have tried all the obvious combinations from 0000 to 9999 and 1234 but I keep getting the same 'Log-in not possible' message on the Maxidot display and my phone indicates, 'Couldn't pair with SKODA_BT Because of an incorrect PIN or Passkey'

Has anyone seen this message before?

Thanks
