Fitted the 9 inch acer stereo tablet thing all works great just waiting for radio Ariel adaptor, sure it’s still live power even thou I’m shutting it down as had flat battery since can any one help? This is the stereo, I wish it’d go off with ignition off.

I've no idea what car you have but at a guess, there is no switched live in the stereo loom as most modern Skoda headunits turn on/off via CAN-bus.

 

It's an easy check with a multi-meter.

 

Assuming that is the case, you either need to run a switched live from the fuse-box or add a CAN-bus adaptor to create a switched live from the existing CAN-bus signals.

Might be worth adding a link to the stereo too rather than snippets of it's description :)

 

Or at least give it's full name as "9 inch acer stereo tablet thing" doesn't help much on ebay ;)

Think just sussed it unplugged little red connector the turns of with ignition, cheers guys
