Looking to see what's a normal distance between complete DPF regens?

 

I've only had the car (2.0 TDI 150hp) 3 weeks and in that time it's went into regen about 4 times with roughly 150miles driven each time.

170 to 190 on mine. Very consistent, doesn't seem to make a lot of difference if I drive on motorways or lots of short runs.

Mines 190-220

cca 300km

I have same engine as the op but I can't say I've made any effort to monitor the regens, I'm doing circa 480 to 530 miles a week. So I'll have to see if I can spot them and revert back.

 

Most of my driving is over A roads with a little dual carriageway thrown in for good measure.

Seems to be every other refill looking at my MPG records. MPG goes up and down pretty consistently. That suggests it's 900-1000 miles, which can't be right!

 

If we change the assumption to 5 regen every 2 refills (eg. first tank gets 2 regen, second tank gets 3 regen making MPG seem lower than first tank). That comes to around 190miles per regen. This looks more in-line with other people's figure.
