FYI, @Loada can confirm MSFW functionality (if you don't mind) - I'm not a big fan of the full circle steering wheel after having the sport (flat bottomed) wheel, but heh - what did yours come with buddy?

  • Well, to my surprise, the dealership was more than happy to reduce the price to match the new prices.   Result - £85 a month for the 1.0 TSI - SE Tech with DSG and paint option!

  • To be fair, it is a bit of a mystical figure. I suppose the difficulty is not everybody will achieve the exact same discount so the only way to do the sum is to use the constant, which is the list pri

  • Sorry quoted the wrong response then, my bad! Couldn't edit it on my mobile either.

As usual, Skoda's configurator saves the day by clearing up what's going on with the different MFSW :giggle:

The stock SE tech wheel is 3 spoke, has the two scroll/click wheels left and right, you can do phone and radio, maxi dot settings, voice commands etc.

Pretty much what I have already except mine has a flat bottom ;)

I might be missing something here, but, the difference is the optional steering wheel is heated and the standard fit is not...

Great, thanks, that's good to know. That money can be put towards a different option then!

I don't think so, I think the configurator just has the wrong description on it. I don't believe you can spec the heated wheel on anything below SE L, and when you look at the options on SE L it lists the "supersoft MFSW" as one option and then a "heated MFSW" as a separate option with a different picture. I think the difference on SE Tech is that the option has the sportier flat bottom (and possibly a higher grade/more leather on it) and that is it.

The stock SE Tech one is definitely not heated

1.0 SE Tech DSG order raised with Leasehub half an hour ago :) Went with only adding on the privacy glass and on a 1+23 profile it's coming in at £175 a month. I'll miss the ride height in my Qashqai as well as the around view monitor, electronic handbrake and keyless entry/start, but I won't miss paying over £100 more every month for a smaller car and having to worry about depreciation.
