Suberskoda badge fail

Featured Replies

Noticed when I got home from work that the centre part of my front badge (black colour-coded) has disappeared. The black outer part of the badge is there along with the backing. It was always a little “loose” from new but I’d be amazed if it would come off when driving. No evidence it’s been pulled off either.

Anyone else had had this issue?

sounds like it wasnt clicked  back in properly after they had finished painting it. the fixing are really small and you have to push hard to get it to seat in firmly. Id ask for my money back, they are normlly ok when it their own product and not another brand.

Where did you get yours from, my Superskoda Monte Carlo is just fine after 14 months

Mine was also from Superskoda.

I sent an email letting them know what happened and offered a new one. To their credit, they’ve refunded my new order and are sending out the missing arrow segment free of charge along with some glue.

Fantastic customer service.

Further to this, have received the new badge centre but no glue!

What would everyone recommend to stick the new part on?

Gorilla Glue - not the superglue - but the standard stuff. Apply very sparingly as it "foams" and allow to cure for 24hrs. It will never come apart again!

Will superglue not potentially eat/melt the paint on the badge?

Hi bigman1976,

It's not the superglue, but the multi-purpose glue (see the photo). Available from all good retailers!
