Really sorry I’m sure I’m duplicating things here but I’m not that techie and my brain is fried.

Today I bought a 2010 Octavia MkII 1.4 TSi with a Bolero head unit.  It was advertised with Bluetooth but erm.... nope.  There is touchscreen and the menus have it as an option but there’s no way to connect my iPhone so I’m assuming the menus are standard and the original purchaser didn’t take out the option for Bluetooth connectivity.

What we need is to be able to make and receive handsfree calls and stream music, but the music doesn’t have to be controllable from the head unit.  We’re content to set the music playing on the phone before we pull away as that’s what we’ve always done in our Sharan.

so, would this module enable us the functionality we need?

many thanks

I have a 2010 Octavia VRS with a Bolero head unit which did not come with bluetooth as standard.

I upgraded using a 7P6 035 730 J Module which is quite basic but will do exactly what you require, make and receive handsfree calls and stream music, music is not controllable from the headunit.

I believe the letter at the end of the code denotes age and function so K/L/M are newer modules and may have more functions.

I have had no issues with mine in the last 2 years it has been fitted and sounds and works great for calls and streaming.

Not sure about the module you have quoted regarding function
or compatibility I'm sure some one will be along shortly who can advise.
