Phone needs to be compatible for it to work. There is a list somewhere which someone may come along and post it.

i had it working on a hire Octavia, i have a Samsung s8+, on Android 8.0.0, should have it on my vRS soon as im upgrading to MIB2 amundsen

ive got it working with floating apps for android.

I had it working for a while, but with the latest Android Auto versions it seems it does not work anymore.

Mind you, you need a rooted phone for it to work.

well i bricked my S8+ several times trying to root. Samsungs are an absolute pig to root properly. I get it rooted then reboot to get the dreaded "only official images can be flashed". it seems there's a new samsung security fix on Oreo 8.0.0 and if you flash a non official ROM you get the boot loop and have to wait seven days after flashing back to stock. its doing my head in at the moment I might give up on it and use my old S5 as a permanent connect to the car.

none of the tutorials on XDA or youtube work.
