Wires broken near drivers door hinge

Guys i have a few wires broken at beside the door hinge on divers side,my question is can i remove the rubber surrounding the wires or does it have to be cut(dont want to take of door card)i know one side has a plug(near fuse box) but can the other side just be pulled out(door side)?Any info would be great guys

Out of curiosity - if one side has a plug, what do you expect on the other side of the wiring loom to be?

Thought something like a module was behind it,seen in another thread,1 guys said that the rubber had to be cut

 

Here's what the inside of the front door looks like (the rear isn't much simpler, no mirror, the rest is the same), but you're free to try and pull the loom out ... :D

The rubber boot unclips, does not need to be cut.
