Hello every body . This is my first post . so I have skoda Octavia 2012 State ,diesel 1.6 Engine with DSG auto Gear.

While driving my skoda suddenly shut down and then i have to put gear in N and then it crank straight away . i am getting this problem when i am driving local or on motor way .

the millage is around 140,000 .local garage diagnostic tool  was telling cam shaft sensor so   i changed crank and cam shaft sensor . Also timing belt and diesel fuel filter .  but problem is still there . any one had same problem or can help me 

 

I had a camshaft sensor fault on my mk1 and it never shut down while driving.

 

have you scanned for error codes?

Thank you for reply ..... yes i have scanned it and its tell me shaft sensor i changed it but the problem and code both still there .

So its probably a wiring or connector fault to the cam sensor. Inspect for damage, broken wires or connectors.
