Bluetooth module

Featured Replies

Hiya, I have a Skoda Octavia 2010 l&k edition. It has a BT module under the driver seat which will only connect to Samsung’s, however I want it to connect to an iPhone. Which BT module will I need to exchange it with and will there be any other updates I will need to do? The BT module I have has a code on it, SNO 035 730 B.

Any advice  good and welcome

Thank you

Simon

HI

Probably you mean 5NO 035 730 B.

I have the same.

I order a 3C8-035-730-B.  normally all the 3c8....... units should work.

according to the forum may be plug and play. Or in some configurations require coding.

I will inform you after the unit installation.

That would be fantastic if you could let me know how you did. There are so many different types of module I was going to head to the scrap yard and try all the modules I could find till one worked lol

Just for the info.

I replace my  5N0035730B with  3C8-035-730-B  and is really plug and play.

3 minutes for 3 bolts and direct Bluetooth connection to my phone.

My car is oktavia 2010 and i have a white display at instruments and Colombus radio.

All contacts downloaded to the radio ( if the language is not supported by the firmware the name remain blank or  with strange characters)

exist also caller list, unanswered calls, speed dial, music streaming.

i don't have rsap supported phone to test messages.

Just to point out, although the BT module appears to work in your car that doesn't mean it's correctly coded, nor that a similar module will 'just work' in other cars.
