I have a 2009 Superb II Limousine with standard taillights and i'm planning to insert the L&K LED taillights instead. But if i just plug and play i know that the bulb warning will show up, and as far as i know there's no option for LED taillights in VCDS.

 

Have someone else done this before and what did you do? I think it would be best if i could connect a module or a resistor with the original wiring terminals.

 

Something like this would be great, but these have too many cables and have other terminals.

The best plan is to use a BCM that supports LED tail lights and have it coded correctly using VCP/ODIS-e. When done properly, there are no bulb warning lights and no resistors are needed.

Thanks for reply langers2k and MarkTB.  I think i will change the BCM, but first i will scan my BCM to check if it support LED tail lights.

langers2k I got the BCM with partnumber 1K0 937 087 A, and as far as i know it dont support LED tail lights, and i cannot find anything in the CAN-gateway installation list.
