SWMBO, had the engine warning light come up on her 2ltr 140 4x4, she has had the VW fix done, so the light came on she took it to an independent who after plugging in the diagnostics , it came back with throttle body malfunction ,and it was knackered, now the question is , is this part of the VW fix as she has around 12 months of their extended warranty left. Independent said £350 all in fitted

Throttle body is probably clogged with soot.
I'd imagine that is one of the parts covered by the fix.

It 'should' be covered as it is part of the EGR system.

My engine light just came on and garage said throttle valve sensor. Is this the same?
