2013 Superb DAB

Featured Replies

Just placed a deposity on a 2013 Superb which I collect on Saturday. It has a non-DAB Bolero head unit, but I can't live without DAB, so what are my options?

1. Connects2 DAB adapter - that will preserve the existing unit and all its features inc steering wheel controls

2. Android/DAB head unit replacement - I assume I'll lose park assist unless it just uses the screen? Might lose steering wheel control depending on the make

3. Upgrade to any other Skoda head unit that will fit and has DAB built in?

I'd prefer option 3 if there is such a unit, but I can't find anything.

Any advice?

thanks

I recently done this on my 2012 Superb.

I had a non DAB Columbus head unit and swapped it with a DAB version. but i had to fit a digital aerial to the windscreen for it to work.

You could also just buy a kit like THIS which would give you DAB on your current Bolero.

Thanks John, but the Superb ended up being sent back as I was missold! I might start another thread with an explanation! :)
