Just wondering if anyone knew that the tyre pressures should be on the 2.8 petrol.There is no reference to them in the owners manual and the chart behind the fuel filler cap has tarnished so I cant read it.My local tyre bay said they were 38psi front and 34psi rear.Sounds a bit too high to me.

Checked on the filler cap of my Superb Elegance 2.8 V6. Your tyre bay is correct 2.6 front and 2.4 bar which equal 38 and 34.

Just checked the pressures on my wife's Fabia - they are 33 and 31. Both models seem to be a bit high to what I've been used to in the past. Maybe it's a Skoda thing:rolleyes:

The inside of the fuel filler cap tells you everything you need to know mate.

Adjusted the pressures to the recommended ones but do not prefer the feel of the ride/steering etc.Many drop them back to 30-32psi front and back which they were before.

Im running 34 in the front and 32 in the rear (TDI 130) and check them weekly without fail, why? because i'm anal!

Spooky that, because I run mine at 34 front 32 rear.

LOL, I never check mine, only when they seem flat!!
