TSI throttle body replacement

I've got a 06 Octavia VRS 2.0l tsi engine, the throttle body has stopped working, can anybody give me any clues, links or videos on how to replace it please!!!!

Can i remove the throttle body from the intake manifold without removing the whole intake unit from the engine?

Any help gratefully needed!!!!

What exactly is your issues wit thtittle body? Any error codes etc. ??

The issue is I've lost my accelerator and my ECU lights flashing.

My mate run a diagnostic, see attached photo, there's a signal coming from the pedal so he advised me to clean the throttle body. It was clean but i replaced the unit and still no change? 

He's saying it might need programming and aligning but if that doesn't solve it to talk to a bloke about the ECU...?

Have you heard of this before? Maybe throw some light on the subject?

Im missing driving the old girl, I'm stuck in a 1.4 Corsa....!

Try this YouTube video for replacing the throttle body, awkward to access the bolts and a mixture of patience and force needed to get the hose back on but perfectly achievable.

I've replaced thr throttle body already, complete mission of a job just because of the hose but still no change???

If you replaced it for a new parts the adaptation need to be done. 

 

The throttle body was brand new?

Yes, brand new unit fitted....
