Columbus Sim and not connecting

Featured Replies

Ignoring the merits or not of the SIM in the car, (basically might as well, as I get a deal on sim and data through work), so have the SIM in the car glovebox and normally everything works fine.

However, every so often, it does not connect (The symbol is red) - Like this morning.  Nothing I do will make it connect, even restarting car. Often next time I drive (say hours later) it works - but not always.

There is a possibility it is due to 'cold' mornings, or maybe the monthly SIM reset (It kind of works like PAYG) but not sure of the pattern if there is one so not even 30% sure of these.

Anyone else the same? Any suggestions (bearing in mind it works mostly and it just annoying)
