Where is the best place to purchase a descent set of front mud flaps

also rear flaps and rubber mats, boot mat, and the thing I miss most now I've got my Superb, under seat storage drawers

are the mud flaps a worth while addition?

I think so, so have always fitted them.

I have never bothered and on third Yeti.

Just something to rip off as I have done several times before on previous cars.

EG backing up over a highish kerb can catch them between the wheel and kerb and pull them off

^^ me too, must be a very high kerbs, clearance on mine is/are a good 8"/20cm, they do not hang down over much but do deflect most of the wheel arch product!

I have never ripped any of mine off, even in deep mud.

Always fitted them if they were available from the manufacturers,never had any come off in 30 yrs.

I can recommend Hi-tech mudflaps available on eBay for £29.95 for a set of four. Specifically designed for the Yeti the front flaps are twice the size of genuine Skoda ones and personally i think they look a lot better.

Ordered our front and rear from a Czech/German retailer "SKparts - Eshop - Link"

 

They have a pretty decent inventory of new original parts :). Shipping isn't too bad either with DHL.

 

They recommend that people email or type to them in advance on WhatsApp first before placing your order and that you then state your cars VIN to verify that the parts fit.

We would actually have ended up ordering the wrong for the rear if they wouldn't have pointed out that we needed a different model for our particular Yeti.

 

Note: Torx 25 preferably an L-key (unless you wanna remove the wheels) and 1.5Nm of Torque for mounting.

Yeah apparently, thought there only was one type but there's apparently two types one for normal and one for outdoor. I assume it has a bit different fitting.
