hi

during my drive to work my 1.6 fsi Octavia 2005 decided to stop working ,firstly as I went round a sharp left hand corner the car stuttered and the engine light started flashing I kept going about half a mile the light became solid, I turned right and the engine cut out after about 1 mile from starting to flash ,it turns over strongly but wont fire

any ideas anyone

I washed the car the night before is it possible that's got out to do with it ??

all sorted reader said ' miss fire cylinder 1' turned out to be a coil pack burning and a fuse gone

Not an uncommon issue carry a spare they are cheap enough. I do.

I changed all 4 so have 3 spares in the boot just in case
