If you're putting a wax over the polish, then you don't need to use a sealant. The wax layer will be your LSP.

If you want to use a sealant, then omit applying the wax layer, and use something like Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection (EGP).

The way it was being advertised I thought you used EGP after you had waxed but AG confirmed it was either or, not both.

See the comments section below the video.

Thanks for that fin69, I do like autoglym products, I'll get EGP in

No worries.

IIRC you need to leave it 30 minutes or so, depending on the temperature. If you intend to use it in the near future I'd email Autoglym to see if they suggest you need to reduce the waiting time.

With the run up to Xmas a lot of places have 3 for 2, or other such AG promotions. If you have a Halfords nearby, I'd pop in and see what they are offering. I have found their website to be unreliable when it comes to local store offers.

Nipping to Halfords on Saturday

Good to know @Fin69.

I use some products from Autoglym. I am very happy with them.

This sealant can be applied home by myself or I need a qualified person ??

As long as you are confident in using such things and follow the instructions, you can do it yourself.

As stated previously, if you intend to use it in the winter, I would email Autoglym and get some advice as to whether you can use it in cold weather, and if so, how long do you leave it for. Normally it is no more than 30 minutes. But yesterday AG Glass Polish was a PITA to wipe off as it was 0.5°c yesterday.

So actually this operation should be done before winter?

Were -4 last night here where I live.

if is like cleaning the upholstery ... shouldn’t be a problem, if is more than that probably I should go to someone which is confident in doing this like you mentioned above.
