Skoda Octavia Dash signal issue

Hi All,
I have a Skoda Octavia 2008 1.9tdi. I am having an issue whilst driving. The mileage reader on the dash keeps ranmdomly changing over to the trip meter automatically. Would anyone have an idea why this could be happening?

Recently got ourselves a Karoq, first Skoda for us and we really like it. Replaces a Tiguan for the family moving duties. Anyway for whatever reason the lighter socket on the Karoq is always live which isn't very useful for powering a dashcam. Had a look for a how-to for tapping a switched feed from the fusebox but only found little bits of info here and there so here is my quick guide to how I've done it. Convieniently there is a fuse box right behind the glove box

Hello Does anyone have any knowledge of how to remedy issues with the RNS510 Columbus stereo cutting out, and a pulsing kind of heartbeat sound being emitted from the speakers? Do I need to install software? If so, how do I know which type and what version I will need, and where do I get it? Thanks in advance.
