Anyone who has experience using HVO100 Diesel for their Octavia II 1.6 TDI?

I don't think anyone outside Sweden has experience of 100% hydrogenated vegetable oil fuels so perhaps a Swedish member can comment.

In the past VW/Skoda were much against using vegetable oils over just the few percent allowed in European fuels so perhaps they have specific models for your market.

 

I know people in the UK have used fresh and old filtered cooking oils in the Mk 1 Octavia but I don't know of anyone doing so in a CR engine of a Mk 11.

The handbook for my 1.6 litre CR says only fuels to EN 590 / DIN 51628 can be used. What does your handbook say as we have basically the same engine?
