Diamond Brite..any good?

Featured Replies

I have recently been looking at detailing forums, for advice and tips on how to keep my Fabia in good order and altough some of the people on these sites are obsessive and spend fortunes and hours buffing their cars, nobody seems to rate diamond brite, which for its' price and considering my car is relatively free from swirls etc anyway seems a good deal.

I only ask because I am nearing the end of most of my Auotoglym products.

Any SENSIBLE advice anyone ?

Thanks, Graham

Graham, to be honest with you, I will probably continue with Autoglym as the price is excellent and the option is to spend A LOT more and the results I have had with Autoglym have been excellent. Oh, and the Screenwash smells like ... erm ... a new car. Love it.

On a similar theme I have a black car. I chose this colour because we live on a farm and it gets a lot of fly dirt on it when in the car port (and I mean lots). What is the best car wash (shampoo) to use on it. Is a wash wax advisable or the wax free detergent ones? Do not have a lot of time to spend hours on polishing etc. Just want a good wash that looks pretty reasonable. Am lucky as have use of an industrial Karcher power wash, see that you can get car wash for that either wash and wax or just wash. What do people recommend?

Get some Swissol and Turtlewax Top Coat Sealer. Awesome results. Mind you Graham, you'll have to wash it first!!!

I find just a jetwash, then a generic car shampoo, then a jet wash , then a wash and wax stuff does for week to week, about 1 hr in total.

But to be silly I have been known to spend all day doing mine, and still be dissatisfied.

But I am Odd......

I will have to change my sig. to shiny car, due to W.O. not talking to me !!

Get some Snoe foam and a foam attachment for the Kercher, spray it on leave for 10 minutes and spray it off. About

I used diamond brite before, it's not very good, better off with Klasse all in one.
