Problem with Columbus - NAV

Featured Replies

Hello,

I just started to have problems with Columbus on my Superb. It started just to load Skoda logo and to reboot automatically in loop.

What to do?

To reinstall the software? If yes, where can I find it? And how to do it?

Since I cant start my Columbus, how can I find out the version and so on... what I need for the upgrade?

Please help, I am lost

Pull the unit forward out of the dash and the data label on the top will give you all the relevant data.

However, I've just repaired this fault on a unit for someone, and unless you have the hardware and software to delete the existing software install on the unit then it might not be possible to reload any further software.

That's a similar unit to the one I had problems with. You might need to find software 6270 to install first which is a factory version (overwrites everything and deletes any errors etc. and starts again from fresh) because 6276 might just reinstall and keep ome or all of the error you have. You might also need service tools to wipe the existing software completely so it'll work.

The software isn't something I can help with, but google should find it for you. I just found it very easily.
