Hi  all i am new to this forum and have a new vrs 245 estate and want to turn off / disable the engine sound generator which ramps up the engine "fake" sound in sport mode! has anyone achieved this?

If you select the vRS mode button the eco normal sport and individual options come up on the screen. I just set up the individual option the same as the sports mode but with the sound turned off. It tells you how to do it in the manual somewhere.....

The sound activator can be turned down in VCDS.  I have mine turned down to 30%, which leaves a little bit, but eradicates any resonance, or anything rattling in the dash.
