Hi all. 

 

I have brought a 6R0035501D see item on ebay below

i would like to know what cables do what. 

So colour coding and the best cables to use for dab and gps. 

 

Does anyone one know if anywhere that can make them up ? 

What exact colour and type fakra ends do I need. 

 

Want it to look as factory behind the unit as I can. 

 

Skoda Columbus dab in a mk2 Octavia vrs. 

 

Tbaks 

Blue is GPS

Bordeaux/purple is rSAP (GSM)

Black is DAB

White is FM (possibly also AM)

Ok. Thank you. Very helpful. So. Could I buy 2 each of these cable ends ( see photo ) 

and buy my own cable and make my own extenders ? If so. What’s the best cable to use for each. Anything to help with interference or signal loss ?

You might want to use 90 degree connectors for the headunit side as I'm not sure how much space is there.

 

Personally, I'd grab some from eBay or aliexpress unless you already have the right crimp tool. I think I used China-RF when I needed an rSAP extension.

Yes I have access to the correct tool so if I could save some pennies but getting diy to make my own. I won’t be complaining lol

 

i will ask them how much to make me up 2 cables I need with 90 deg ends.
