Not had my 2014 Mk3 Vrs estate long but I have detected a creaking noise mainly from the front end when going over speed bumps and up and down lowered kerbs etc.

 

It only happens whilst applying the brakes at the same time. If I go up and over any bumps without braking it is smooth as a baby’s bum

It's just cold weather stiffening the rubber bushes. 

 

You hear it more when you're braking because the resistance to braking will be torquing your control arms slightly. 

Dry anti roll bagr bushes.  Just turn up the radio and ignore.

My old 2003 Octavia VRS used to creak in winter months and did for years of ownership. The bushes were fine and were not perished that much when I sold the car on 144k. My 2016 Octavia VRS is now creaking in the winter months which I have noticed recently and so has my Wife's 2015 Fiesta. Im not worried about it, as said above no point in lubricating and potentially damaging the rubber in the bush.

 

I had a Sierra Cosworth 18 years ago and have poly bushes fitted front/back. These creaked on the back beam which wasn't to bad and just lived with it.

 

All cars passed the MOT's without issue
