Hi I'm hoping someone can help me I've got a engine management light on my 59 plate skoda fabia with the 1.2 engine I've had a dianostic computer on it and it's come up with error code po172 bank 1 too rich. I've checked everything I can think of including the 2 O2 sensors the coil packs spark plugs air filter but it still keeps coming on 

You sure that code is correct ?? this was a "dummy scanner" I assume ?

 

Thats a generic OBD II code basically refering to not enough oxygen in exhaust, could be many things.

 

I think is it needs a scan from a VAG tool like VCDS or the dealer to get a proper diagnosis

Cheers I will double check the code number and if that doesn't help I'll get it checked out at a garage
