Wheels for anthracite grey vrs

Featured Replies

Hello all!

I'm planning to get new set of wheels for my anthracite grey octavia vrs FL, but I can't decide what kind of wheels and what color I should buy. So, if anybody have anthracite grey octavia with non-stock wheels, could you post picture of your car here, thank you!

If you're not unhappy with the design of the current wheels, have you considered having them reconditioned? I just had my wheels cleaned up (corrosion and slight curb damage from the car's previous owner) and the colour changed. I used The Wheel Specialist. They were very good, cleaned the wheels up a treat and changed them from silver to Anthracite for £95 a corner. They had a variety of finishes to choose from (https://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/wheel-finishes/standard/#colourchangeG) and a wheel of each colour that you could take outside and put by the car to see what it looked like. I dropped the car off at 4pm on one day and collected it, all done, at 5pm the day after.

Is there a similar company in your country?

I got my Proteus polished alloys refurbished due to Skoda refusing to replace them to delamination.

I chose to get them powder coated gunmetal rather than the original silver polished as I prefer durability over vanity. They didn't quite turn out as I wanted, but I've grown to like them.

This was the type of result I was hoping for!

Not sure what grey this is, but love mine with the black wheels.

Getting them reconditioned was my first option, but here isn't many that kind of companies in Finland, at least near my hometown not. Also my currents are 17'' and i'd like to have 18 or 19''. Maybe 18'' with ET 40-45 fits better because the lowering. (-45mm).

Looks like audi's wheels? But I like that. Definetly one possible option.

I think that is same color than mine. Black look good. Are those 17''?

18”
