Egr delete

Hi ive just had an EGR delete and remap on my Octavia mk2 the BHP has gone from 140 to 170 so the performance is better I suppose but getting a few carbon gas smells in the car now and then not all the time and the other night the car temperature went down slightly and the car went sluggish until I turned of the ignition and back on again then went alright... as I’m a taxi driver thought the remap might of been to much any ideas.... 2 liter engine by the way
