Hey guys i have this fault on my 2.0 tdi vrs mk3 2015 manual with 80k anyine come across this and can someone help with what it could be? Thanks

Im as blind as you on this one, seems common though. Its apparently something to do with the pump that circulates coolant to the intercooler, could be that a valve is stuck open or blocked causing an electrical error. Might give you poor performance or bad mpg but the code is faurly generic. Im not a mechanic, just googled all that. The website above jas some info

Sounds like it is the auxiliary coolant pump just wondering if any1 else has had simular issues

Got this code after I changed my oil , I had to disconnect a lead and move a water pipe below the oil filter housing. it was the lead making a bad connection

Got a Octavia 63 plate and got 88k and keep losing a lot of coolant and having to top up every 80 miles I do, and temp keeps going over 90 when I first start it, once I turn it off let fan do it’s job once back down to 90 it stays at normal temp but the aux code comes up now with warning light on dash. Think it needs a new aux cooling pump ??
