Genuine Ross-Tech VCDS HEX-CAN Cable purchased from ilex.co.uk as stated below these cable did not come with any VIN limitation. Comes complete with case.

These never came with any VIN limitation.

 

They are however limited to what controllers they will talk to after 2015.

Unfortunately the list is a little outdated as even some new Skoda's are now no longer fully supported, but providing you heed the following quote you will not go far wrong:

After 2015 it will be a hit and miss.

 

Good luck with the sale, my input is purely to try and stop any confusion as many buyers see the ‘unlimited VIN’ and automatically assume it’s the newer HEX-V2 interface (which will work on anything)
