Another New guy!

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Just thought I'd say hi. Been reading the boards for a while now, though haven't posted yet!

Bought a 54 plate Octy vRS mk1 last month and loving it so far! Had a 1.4 Clio before, so it was a nice step up! I actually almost bought a 182 Clio, but fell in love with Octy's better quality, feel, and size.

No major plans for the car yet besides new stereo, but all the info I've found out here so far has been extremely useful!

Also, Doll and Neo_VR, thanks again for your comments made over @ Hexus. :)

Wise choice Ant.

Good choice of car Ant

I stepped up from a similar car myself (Ford Fiesta 1.25LX) - the Octy is certainly in a different class

When I first joined Briskoda I had intentions of keeping my Octy vRS standard  - these intentions did not last long especially after seeing the tuning options available for the 1.8T and then witnessing the results of these when attending Briskoda meets :D

Yup, I have been reading about what's been done here, and its certainly impressive! Unfortunately I think I'll get a firm :finger: from mr insurance man at the slightest whisper of the word "Jabba" or anything else for that matter. :( I'll try be good! :P

When it comes round to insurnace renewal time try it see, you will often get told to :finger: but you may get some that say

Next step for me is to sort the handling properly then go for more power :D
