Fabia 1.4tdi 56 reg cut out and wont start

My Diesel Skoda fabia  cut out when I was driving  and wouldn't start again . Ive read many helpful posts on here and have tried several things  .  I have changed the fuel pump relay and glow plug relay  . Ive changed the fuel pump . But still the same   cant hear the fuel pump prime when I turn the key .it has run for a couple of minutes but just cut out again  I would be grateful for any advice . The car is a 56 reg and has done 90.000 miles . I thought id ask here before I get a garage to look at it  thanks
