As part of my car additions, I’m going to be adding front parking sensors to the car. In the workshop manual, it refers to  VAG Body Adhesive for Plastic (D822150A1). I’ve found it on eBay for ~£33 (from Germany)?. A UK dealer has quoted £26.87 for the can!

 

The workshop manual states that the internal surface of the bumper should be prepped with this adhesive. Would the general consensus be that any contact adhesive will do the job?
