How do you find out which sat nav?

Featured Replies

Hi

on another thread I mentioned updating the software, turns out all my husband updated was the maps

so the reason behind another thread is, re the software update, how do I find out which sat nav I have? Columbus or amundsen?

its a SE L late 2015 65 plate, diesel if that makes any difference?

is there a site I can pop the vin into and find out the factory options?

Thank you x

turns out it’s a Amundsen, there’s map updates on there which we’ve done, but no software updates available??

What software are you running? It’ll say when you go into system settings. They shipped with 0241 then 0245. Unless you have a problem with the nav unit I wouldn’t bother updating the firmware. You won’t gain any features on 0252 but the parking sensors are apparently more accurate.

Have you put the update files on a flash drive or SD?

You need the MIB1, MIB2 folders and metadata file in the root of the SD/flash drive for the system to pick it up.
