I am considering buying https://www.bilbasen.dk/brugt/bil/skoda/octavia/14-tsi-140-elegance-5d/4202695# which is registered July 2013 and was just wondering as this is one of the early models of the Mk III there might be some issues that was ironed out later

 

And btw when it has parking sensors and when it has the big display, will it always show a visual representation or can it be audio only?

not sure if it affects the petrol engines but my 2.0CR150 diesel overheated from time to time

 

Turned out the waterpump sleeve would stick from time to time and cause the engine to overheat

Cant vouch for the petrol engines but certainly look for evendence that the cam belt and water pump has been changed on the 2 liter diesel engine.

Auto / dsg gear box needs a service at 40,000 miles.
