Been looking through post for a while now as looking to buy a new Karoq soon. Was looking at SE L model and trade my car in but just out of budget which i set. Been offered SE ACT model in dsg within my range are these models any good as the ACT seems to throw me because when i search SE model it brings tech or edition models up.

ACT refers to the ability of the engine to shut down 2 of the 4 cylinders hence saving fuel. This happens under light load not going uphill at usually 1,400rpm or higher. We have the SEL Karoq and it does come with a nice spec. Are you aware of the issues with some 1.5Tsi engines particularly with a manual gearbox but also some issues with DSG. Edition models were very high spec models available at launch with pano roof and leather interiors. Tech probably came with sat nav which was extra on SE models and below.

Thanks for the info i wasnt aware what ACT was. Yeah i have been reading about the kangaroo problems some people have needs sorting asap for those effected.
