Skoda karoq sel

Featured Replies

Hi has anyone else had any issues with the middle rear seat as found out today after my mum.cut her leg, the bars holding the middle seat stick out more than the seat, and can't move the seat back or forward unless I remove it, is it just me or is this an issue, I know the back seats have issues as something wrong with them from day one, sensors not working when someone sits in the seats and the ico fix holdings all fallen out from not just the cover but all the ones that should stay in the seats, skoda replacing the back seats under warranty but little worried about this middle seat as first time beibg used and never noticed the bars sticking out.

There is a Recall, and even if not part of that you have a faulty car. Contact a Skoda Dealership, be sure to speak to a Warranty Manager or Dealer Principal and not just a receptionist,

& best also  contact Skoda Customer Services.   Vorsprung Durch Technik,  as in they are taking the mick with Safety Critical Issues.

Again make them aware it is a serious issue, and not a to be swept under the carpet, or tucked under the upholstery issue...

Skoda should be contacting Registered Keepers of the vehicles they suspect have an issue, that is what a Recall Is.

Different from Service Campaigns, or Recall Actions. Or Skoda Secret Service Campaigns..

Trying to work out what the image is showing. Is that the front surface of the rear centre seat? Where are the bars sticking out?

I checked my center rear seat and it has metal sticking out, I will photo tomorrow, as we have had no one sit in back I am not sure if anyone would get cut. Does look a bit bad...

Photo and further check in the daylight...

The picture was taken at the front of the rear seats so opened the back door and took picture of the row of back seats that shows the middle seat and the bars underneath if that makes sense

Skoda have to get nice new not faulty rear seats again, and if you want they have to supply you a nice car equal or better than yours until they get them.

Hi here is what I see on mine. Looks maybe a bit more finished? Still just out a bit and maybe if you had bare legs might skin yourself?

A mate took his in today to skoda they had a look and said yes it needs doing but as your vin is not on recall we can't touch it, I've been told the same,  both our cars was built week 34 2018 22.08.19 but are not covered in the recall vin even though it's cars built until 31.08.18, weird, I'm waiting for skoda uk to come back to me.

Just checked mine which appears the same as photos by MJI.

Rarely if ever have people sat in back, so not a major problem for me, but if you had kids in back frequently I would have a different attitude.

I will bring it up at 1st service...

Not imo simply clever...
