I've noticed on the radio it keeps stoping and starting I returned it it's still not very good it sounds like the Arial is not connected

The DAB signal loses connection frequently on both our Skoda's. There are certain weak signal areas where we notice this and I'm sure this happens to many owners all over the UK. No easy fix I'm afraid.2017 Octavia and 2018 Karoq for reference.:blink:

No this is on FM I've retune it but it's still the same I don't think it's a dab radio

FM can also drop out, depending on where you are.  In the Highlands it's not unusual to have to switch to AM once you get a bit north of Perth.  Depending on where you are in London the "canyon" effect of tall buildings can also interfere with VHF reception.

 

If you don't know whether you're on DAB. FM or AM I'd ask your dealer to show you how to switch between them.  If your dealer can't do that, go to another dealer.

My 2014 car had terrible reception in the last 6 months I owned it.

It worked fine in Leeds, but 60 miles South no reception. Unfortunately when I complained I was just told it works fine when tested.

Well it would work ok in Leeds!

I thought my radio was just FM I never new it had DAB ON IT I'LL HAVE A LOOK AT IT TOMORROW THANKS FOR YOUR HELP I booked my car in for Monday I can't believe how bad the reception is I've never had problem like this before is possible to add a dab radio to the existing one
