Hi all, jumped in the car to go and pick up great grandson from school, and noticed no sound from radio, turned volume up and nothing!, tried different channels but wouldn't change then FM channels, and again nothing. Then tried the media (SDcard2) and started playing and volume ok, switched back to radio and still media player playing even though radio showing on screen. Went back to media and nothing, didn't even read it. When parked up I switched ignition off and Amundsen, left for a few minutes then tried again, nothing!, went into settings and it said no channels found, media wouldn't play either. Just been out to car now and all working fine, weird, hope it's not starting to fail, may phone dealer up tomorrow and see if they know of any problems with the Amundsen unit (I already know what the answer will be!!). 

Has anybody else had anything similar happen to them?

That'll be a characteristic, sir, you will learn to live with it!

Only happened once when no radio, media or bluetooth at all, was some time ago and not happened again since, one of those strange gremlins.

 

Yes dealers are quick to brush off these things
