Hello Skodarians,

I have a 2018 Octavia Vrs diesel. While maintaining speed on the motorway there is a low hum from the engine. If I increase power it goes away. If I shut off power it goes away. It’s is just a low hum while maintaining 70mph ish and even does it in cruise control. It’s obvs still under warrantee but I don’t think they’ll find anything. Just wondered if it was a pump or fan or something. Thanks for help or if anyone has experienced something similar and can say it’s normal. 

No - a low hum is not "normal" over my motoring career of 51 years  .

Most of my cars have been loud on the motorway.

And a silent car might be unnerving.

Has the exhaust been replaced with a non-resonated one?
