Dash lights up like a Xmas tree

Hi everyone. 

 

Yesterday took the superb for a drive from Glasgow to Lincoln. We made a stop around Doncaster and about 10 minutes after taking off, whilst doing 70mph, all dash lights came on and the speedo dropped to zero for a second or 2. Engine never cut out or anything. 

Ive had issues with the battery draining over night and wonder if it is related?

Low battery voltage can cause weirdness on the dash.
