Engine cut off on throttle

Hey guys,

Can anyone help with this problem: I found it very strange that octavia 2007, 1.6fsi engine cut off for a second rather half a second  or less when I floor it, sometimes don't even need that much just to be harder on throttle .  Then start reving up nicely up to the red line as it should.  It's soo annoying!  It's like the engine pause itself for a millisecond... and the  starts pulling as it should. 

Any idea folks?
