I’m a Fanny. Superb II 2.0 tdi poorly.

Ok long story short, I pulled a few fuses both in engine bay and cabin of my 2015 superb 2.0tdi Elegance. This was in an attempt to disable radio. All I think put back where I found them???

However now the the engine will turn but not fire. Ignition lights up, plugs light up then go out. Turn to position 3, (start) starter turns but won’t fire, back to ignition and starter continues to turn, until position 1 is selected.

Ive tried discounting battery, no joy. Contacted my local main dealer, unless ****s just want the car. No free advise  off them these days. Im stumped?

Have i blown a fuse of put put one in wrong position? Immobilised? The fact starter runs after turning from start to ignition might be a clue?

Thanks for any words of wisdom.

Pulled the fuse for the fuel pump and not replaced maybe?

I guess you’ll have to go through your booklet fuse layout and follow each fuse and make sure it’s there.

No idea if the superb is the same but when I open the door on my Fabia I can hear the fuel pump priming for a second or two, does yours?

Hi dude.

No I can’t say I hear any pump sounds? Hear modules come to life but nothing else. Looks like a wee bill for my tampering. Have recovery coming out to well recover it, as it’s a third party who prefer to recover then fix. ‘Get more money that way’

my local mech is over his head with work at the moment.
