Rubber car mats, Mk3 2019.

Featured Replies

As per the title, really! Where's the best place to grab some? I like the thought of having the tunnel protector as well, especially as it'll be the dogs in the back seats mostly (don't panic, I'm getting seat covers as well).

I do like the look of the SuperSkoda ones but at €38 total plus €14 for shipping it's totting up quickly. There are options on eBay but, as always, it's difficult to gauge the quality. I'd rather not have fabric mats - I feel rubber ones would have far greater longevity and resistance to dirt, mud, detritus etc.

Any suggestions are appreciated (even the 'get a grip and buy the SuperSkoda' ones)!

Diolch yn fawr. :)

I've always just bought the real thing at the dealership round about when buying new cars, while my wallet is easy to open!

I was looking after my daughter's late 2009 Ibiza for a few years and as she has different values on things, she just kept the crappy SEAT mixed pair of front rubber mats from her previous car which had gone hard and ugly - so, at a Lidl special deal day, I bought a set of 4 mats for that car, 4 years on they still seem okay - no tunnel cover though - probably under £20 the lot!

I think I might just buy the rubber ones from SuperSkoda, truth be told. I can see that there are options to purchase on eBay and suchlike, but I can't be sure of the quality. Most of the options on eBay come in at similar prices anyway and ship from Germany.

That's a great buy from Lidl! I'm a stickler for having things fit neatly though, so I think the rubber mats are in order! :) Thanks for the help Rum4mo.

I used to always buy proper fit ones, but have given up replacing every 12 months and bought genuine ones for the last couple of years.

Ive just picked up a set of normal (non rubber) genine sealed skoda ones for £20 delivered! - i was rather happy when they arrived.

Sounds like I missed the memo! Everyone's grabbing bargains but me, so it seems! :D

I bought a set of front rubber mats for my 1.2  SEL Fabia from dealer about 3 years ago which came with the proper clips to fit the pins in the floor. This year I have had to patch hole on the drivers  side under the clutch pedal with some reinforced tape. I think they cost about £40 the passenger side is still in mint condition. Wonder if you can buy just the drivers side probably not :(  Joe

I got some of the Skoda ones from the dealership thrown in when I bought the car. They're great, the carpets still look brand new underneath, and I'll be getting new ones for my Ibiza when it arrives this weekend! Certainly recommend them.

To fit Fabia (2015+) Tailored Black Rubber Car Mats + Green Trim (1662) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0182E3PDY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_1BmGCbZS1PNN5

looking around I’m contemplating the above. They’re about £10 cheaper than getting them from SuperSkoda and have a good looking green trim. If I’m not happy with figment can always return and if they don’t last then lesson learned!

They also do fabric ones which are about a fiver cheaper.

I got all my rubber mats ( front rear and tunnel ) from superskoda as they are OEM parts and not that dear really shipping can be a bit high but they do have every thing there

I’ve opted for the SuperSkoda ones. Time will tell as to what they’re like but they’re well received from what I’ve read! :)

Thanks all! Will let you know when they arrive.

I got mine from Superskoda also as have used them before, arrived quicker than I expected also

Fitted yesterday - they fit like a dream. The rubber edging to them creates a very snug seal and they are absolutely not prone to any movement once fitted. The tunnel cover is a great addition, also.
