Make boot level so no dip

Welcome

Either buy or make your own VBF (variable boot floor)

As a noob to Skoda I stand ready to be corrected, but I was told a couple of days ago when looking at the Superb Estate that the VBF isn’t a “dealer fit” type option, but is a factory fit. So maybe it’ll have to be a DIY job, which I was going to do (but found a car with VBF within budget so that kind of cured that..)

A cheap alternative is a ‘trimmed down’ piece of Conti boarding covered in an off-cut of carpet.

use odd pieces of wood to gain the ideal height with the boot lip for the desired effect.

It’s a bit of a ‘Heath Robinson’ approach but it could turn out to be a rewarding and fun DIY project.

I would investigate the polystyrene that surrounds the full size spare wheel option. It may raise the boot floor enough.

I had a Golf “skinny” spare in my Yeti. I just needed to buy the boot floor (with the ‘hinged’ sides) and the polystyrene side pieces that I had to cut down to match the spare wheel height. In your case you maybe able to get away with just the polystyrene.

The problem will be getting to see and measure the polystyrene height to check whether this is a realistic solution.

Other than that make your own packing to raise the boot floor.

If you're after a proper professional level floor, take a look here:                                                                                                                                                                                      (Google - rt-click - translate)
