Fitting Fabia door and window pillar trims, is it easy??

Featured Replies

I have a Fabia Classic and want to fit a few bits and pieces to it, like the door trims and protection strips below, and maybe mudflaps. Not exactly going to get it on the cover of Max Power :P but I just think my car is a bit bare, and I'm don't think putting a spoiler on a Fabia Classic is going to fool anybody!!.

Are they easy to fit or is it best to get them put on by the dealer??

the pillar trims are a bit fiddly but easy enough to do

i aligned them up before removing the backing paper and used masking tape to keep them in position before pulling the backing off bit by bit - smoothing them out (with free plastic scraper in kit) - just make sure the're level top and bottom

for side mouldings i suppose the easiest way to fit these is to put masking tape just below where the moulding goes - keep peeling it off and re-sticking until it's spot on then you have an accurate guide for the rubber :)

i fitted piller trims.... and yup they are quite easy.... best thing i can say is don't rush it and u'll end up with a great job.
