Just wondering if there is anything to worry about ,swmbo is buying one 66 plate with 24k on for 12k after trade in for yeti , and can any warranty be extended up to 100k miles either from a dealer or independent, she has been given the remaining warranty, plus 1 year.

Excellent choice. I got my 64 plate DSG scout a year ago after all the snow last March. With higher ride height and under protection the 4-wheel drive with michelin cross pilots I fitted would have meant I was unlikely to get cut off again here in Welsh mountains. Shame we've not really had any snow since!!

 

Its a great drive. Comfortable and economical in economy mode yet very eager when shift is knocked back into sports mode. Only niggles have been with warning message popping up momentarily about an error with selector (known DSG prob) when meant selector was swapped out under warranty and also the rain sensor coming loose from behind windscreen. I've posted on both these before. I'd have thought the years warranty would be sufficient.

 

Definitely a great step up from the Yeti.
