Can someone tell me if the 096 battery will fit my 2012 Blackline?  280mm long!

 

It seems very tight when i've measured it.  It still has the original battery on it which seems small in comparison.

They fit in my MK2 pre fl. Should fit in your fl, but i cannot be 100% certain.

When I fitted a 096 in my 05 Octy yes it filled the battery tray and the battery cover made of cloth material was extremely snug. You just need to be mindful where you route the + and - cables. I have fitted the same size to a 04 Fabia vRS and I think my Superb2. They are 278mmx175x175 the 096 and 100 batteries I buy.

Picked one up and now fitted......very snug.  Lol

 

Then on first start 3 warning lights wouldn't go out but after another look on here and a ride up the road all is good again.
